Dr. Javier Mendez

It’s not just his extensive training that makes Dr. Mendez an exceptional dentist, it’s his ability to listen. Once he learns what your expectations and concerns are, he can help you make an informed decision. A graduate of the University of Miami, Dr. Mendez earned his dental degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. He subsequently completed his General Practice Residency in Hialeah. Dr. Mendez belongs to a number of professional organizations, including the American Dental Association and the South Florida Dental District Association. Fluent in Spanish as well as English, he has journeyed as far afield as Guatemala and Ecuador to provide treatment for those without access to proper dental care. He has also helped the less fortunate here at home through his tireless efforts on behalf of Give Kids A Smile® and Project We Care. A man of many interests, Dr. Mendez likes to cook, fish, exercise and travel in his off hours. When not following the Dolphins and the Hurricanes, he spends countless hours managing his own fantasy football team.
