Well versed in virtually every aspect of cosmetic and restorative dentistry, Dr. Edwards has spent the past 17 years giving her patients smiles they can be proud of. Originally from Rock Island, Illinois, Dr. Edwards received her degree in dentistry from the University of Iowa. A devoted Iowa Hawkeyes fan, she likes to ski, scuba dive and play tennis. But her favorite activity of all is spending time with her children.

A skilled dentist who has devoted her considerable talents to the fields of cosmetic and restorative dentistry, Dr. Teran attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) before going on to earn her dental degree. She accumulated a number of honors during the course of his studies, including the George Epstein Award and the DePowell Award UMKC, and belonged to the Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society. In order to stay abreast of the latest dental care trends and technologies, Dr. Teran remains actively involved in the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and Psi Omega National Dental Education Fraternity. She also volunteers her services to Dental Care with a Heart, an organization dedicated to providing free dental care to migrant workers and their families. Dr. Teran and her husband are the proud parents of three adorable children.

Dr. Nelson Diaz
An Invisalign®-certified orthodontist who is fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Diaz is admired as much for his compassionate manner as he is for his clinical skills. After graduating from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. Dr. Diaz completed his General Practice Residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital before going on to receive his Certificate in Orthodontics from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics as well as a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Florida Association of Orthodontists, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the Pan-American Dental Society. Committed to serving his community as well as his patients, Dr. Diaz is actively involved in local dental outreach and screening programs that provide dental care to uninsured children; he is also a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. Married with two children, Dr. Diaz likes to run, play tennis and watch soccer in his off hours.
