Dental Associates of Kendall offers a permanent remedy to this problem with the revolutionary All-on-4® Treatment Concept. Best of all, the All-on-4 dental implant solution prevents those embarrassing incidents caused by dentures slipping or falling out at unexpected moments.

Hundreds of thousands of people have opted for All-on-4 dental implant therapy since it was first introduced by Nobel Biocare in 1998. Not only does this concept prevent dentures from slipping but it is less invasive than other dental implant procedures.
With traditional dental implant surgery, most patients must first make repeated visits to the dental office for bone grafts to build up the jawbone so it can support the implants. With the All-on-4 Treatment Concept, bone grafts are usually unnecessary. As a result, patients heal faster and are able to enjoy the benefits of their permanent dentures supported by All-on-4 dental implants sooner.
Another benefit is that other types of permanent dentures require six to eight dental implants to hold the denture in place. As the name suggests, All-on-4 treatment requires only four implants. During a single dental appointment, patients walk out with their All-on-4 dental implants topped by a temporary denture. In some cases, they can even have receive their permanent denture that day. That’s frequently referred to as “teeth-in-a-day.”
Because the All-on-4 Treatment Concept requires fewer implants and less-invasive surgery, it often costs less than traditional implant surgery.
All-on-4 dental implant therapy uses just four dental implants to permanently attach a complete denture or bridge to the upper or lower jaw. The terms “complete denture” and “complete bridge” both mean a complete row of artificial teeth.
After you’re relaxed and comfortable with sedation, the dentist or specialist will place two small titanium posts directly into the upper or lower jawbone in the front of your mouth and two more titanium posts tilted at a 45-degree angle in the back of the upper or lower jawbone. The 45-degree angle sets the All-on-4 Treatment Concept apart from traditional implant surgery because it allows the dentist to place the implants deeper into the jawbone than is possible with traditional implants. As a result, the procedure doesn’t require the bone grafts that often accompany traditional dental implant surgery.
The titanium used in the implants is compatible with human bone. Therefore, in a matter of months the jawbone will begin to fuse around the implants, firmly and permanently locking them into place. After the All-on-4 dental implants have fused with the jawbone, you will return to your dentist to have your temporary bridge or denture replaced with a permanent bridge or denture that has been custom-made to match the shape and shade of your original teeth. Once the bridge or denture is in place, your friends and family won’t be able to tell the difference between your dentures supported by All-on-4 dental implants and the real thing.
In addition to providing a permanent support for a complete row of teeth, your All-on-4 dental implants will prevent the natural deterioration of the jawbone that occurs when it no longer has roots supporting it. This deterioration can give denture wearers a gaunt appearance. With All-on-4 dental implants, your face will look fuller and more youthful.
