Rodolfo Acosta-Ortiz, DDS, MPH

Dr. Rodolfo Acosta-Ortiz is a highly experienced general dentist with advanced training in complex restorative and periodontal care. He is skilled in dental implants, extractions, and Laser Periodontal Therapy (LANAP certified), providing patients with modern, minimally invasive treatment options designed for long-term success and comfort.

Dr. Acosta-Ortiz holds a Master of Public Health from the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Nova Southeastern University (2015), further strengthening his commitment to comprehensive, evidence-based patient care.

He also earned a Master of Science in Dentistry with a minor in Epidemiology and a certificate in Advanced Clinical Training in TMD and Orofacial Pain from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry (1998). His dental foundation began at Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia, where he obtained his DDS-equivalent degree in 1992.

With decades of clinical experience, Dr. Acosta-Ortiz combines technical expertise with empathy and honesty. He believes dentistry should be personalized, transparent, and aligned with each patient’s needs, goals, and financial considerations. By carefully listening and building trust, he creates treatment plans that prioritize both oral health and patient comfort.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Acosta-Ortiz is proud to serve a diverse community. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys singing and exploring his passion for art.
