What is a Porcelain Veneer?

If your veneers cover teeth that were damaged or worn down because of an underlying issue such as clenching or grinding, you’ll likely need a custom-made night guard to protect them. But for the most part, care for veneers as you would your natural teeth: by brushing and flossing gently each day. That said, even though veneers can be tough, we don’t recommend using veneer-covered teeth to rip open packages, or biting into very hard foods, such as candy apples.
