How the All-on-4 Treatment Procedure Works

All-on-4 dental implant therapy uses just four dental implants to permanently attach a complete denture or bridge to the upper or lower jaw.

After you've been comfortably sedated, the dentist or specialist will place two small titanium posts directly into the jawbone in the front of your mouth and two more titanium posts tilted at a 45-degree angle in the back of your mouth.

The 45-degree angle allows the dentist to place the implants deeper into the jawbone than is possible with traditional implants. The angle eliminates the need for the bone grafts that often accompany traditional dental implant surgery.

Because titanium is compatible with human bone, the jawbone will begin to fuse around the implants in a few months, firmly and permanently locking the new implants in place.
