Anthony Didato, DMD

Dr. Anthony J. Didato Jr. is a board-certified endodontist and Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics with more than a decade of specialized experience. He is dedicated to helping patients relieve pain, treat infection, and preserve their natural teeth whenever possible.

Dr. Didato specializes in root canal therapy, root canal retreatment, endodontic surgery, emergency endodontic care, and the diagnosis and treatment of complex dental pain. He combines advanced diagnostic technology with a precise, patient-centered approach to make treatment as efficient and comfortable as possible. He understands that many patients come to an endodontist feeling anxious or experiencing significant pain, and he takes the time to listen, explain their diagnosis and treatment options clearly, and help them feel informed and confident throughout their care.

In addition to his clinical experience, Dr. Didato serves as an Adjunct Clinical Professor in the Department of Endodontics at Augusta University's Dental College of Georgia, where he helps educate future endodontists. He is also a published endodontic researcher and has extensive experience treating complex cases. His professional background reflects a strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, communication, and compassionate patient care.

Dr. Didato earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 2011 and completed his specialty training and residency in Endodontics in 2013. He achieved board certification in 2018 and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He is also affiliated with organizations including the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, and Florida Dental Association.

Outside of the office, Dr. Didato enjoys fitness, reading, teaching and mentoring, traveling, and exploring new developments in healthcare and emerging technologies.
